Our history

2002

Our journey begins

Pascal Investment Advisers was created by Bertrand Faure.

Pascal launched its first strategy; a concentrated fundamental European long short fund. The firm still uses the same fundamental investment process today that was created in 2002.

2005

Two great additions

Julien Batteau joined Pascal as a research analyst.

Claude Bernasconi joined as the head of finance and operations.

2015

Dedicated to strategies that last

Pascal launched a long only strategy, also dedicated to European small & mid-caps.

Pascal became one of the first firms in Switzerland to be approved by FINMA (the Swiss financial market supervisory authority) to manage Foreign Collective Investment Schemes in November 2015.

2017

Another exceptional individual joins our team

Olivier Peypoux is hired to run trading at Pascal.

2018

Shortlisted in the 2018 Investors Choice Awards

Pascal’s long only strategy was shortlisted in the 2018 Investors Choice Awards.

2021

The list of awards expands

Thomas Corbrion joined Pascal as a research analyst.

Pascal was shortlisted for the HFM European Performance Awards 2021 for its long short equity strategy.

Pascal’s long only strategy won a ‘Top Performer’ award at the Allocator 2021 Investors Choice Awards.

2022

Long term success

Pascal's long only strategy won a 'Top Performer' award in the 'Long Only Equity Fund - under $1bn' and 'Long Only Equity Fund - Under $1bn - Long Term Performance' categories at the Allocator 2022 Investors Choice Awards.

Bertrand Faure was ranked number one in Citywire's 2022 Euro Stars guide to Europe's Top Fund Managers.

Pascal was shortlisted for the HFM European Performance Awards for its long short equity strategy for the second year running.
